How to reset the Service light in the Škoda Octavia?

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

In the Škoda Octavia, to reset the Service light, press and hold the button located in the centre of the instrument cluster, just below the central display. While holding this button, the instrument cluster should be turned off: then, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. After a few seconds, you will notice that the maintenance interval is reset and the Service light will disappear from the instrument cluster; the instrument cluster can then be turned off and back on to confirm the reset.
