In this video, we see how to replace the rear light of a Skoda Octavia MK1: we open the trunk and remove the carpet covering the rear light. By pressing on the two sides of the internal optical group, we easily remove the entire group, including the bulbs. We replace the one we are interested in, and when positioning the new one, we always remember not to touch it with bare hands, but to use disposable gloves, as the person in the video rightly shows us. The bulbs have a bayonet fitting, so they must be inserted by pressing and then turning them a quarter turn. We put the bulbs back in place, cover them with the carpet and close the trunk. Job done.
