How to replace the battery of the Skoda Octavia

Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the Skoda Octavia MK2 model in a simple and fast way. Turn off the car, pull the handbrake, and open the front hood by pulling the lever; the battery is located to the right of the engine compartment. Press on the plastic tab to lift the battery cover. Using a socket wrench and a 10mm key, remove the negative battery terminal clamp and after making sure the cable is properly disconnected, remove the plastics. Disconnect the positive terminal cable, using the same key, and remove the fabric cover of the battery. Using a 13mm key, unscrew the battery support plate and remove it. After removing the battery, insert a new battery and connect the positive terminal cable after inserting the plastic parts, also connect the negative terminal. Mount the battery support plate and insert the fabric cover, complete the replacement by closing the battery cover.
