How to replace the battery of the key remote control for a Skoda Superb

In this video tutorial, we will see how to replace the battery of the key remote for a Skoda Superb car. The procedure is very simple: take the key remote in your hand and press the button on the front of the casing, this way you will release the metal key from inside. At this point, pry the edge of the remote from the side where the empty slot is present and remove the back cover of the remote. You will have access to the battery compartment and can proceed to remove and replace the battery. The required model is a flat CR 2025 3V battery.

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system.
