Error on Skoda's emergency call: what are the issues of the VAG group in this regard

In this video we see a problem with the emergency call system of a Skoda Scala: after turning on the car, an error message appears on the display regarding the emergency system, which does not reset even by pressing the red SOS button located on the roof, near the dome light. In fact, the message tells us to contact the dealership. In reality, as some reputable newspapers like "The Guardian" have reported, there has been a constant stream of complaints regarding this issue, from all brands of the VAG group, namely Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda. Many of these vehicles have experienced this problem, where sometimes a software update by the dealership was sufficient, while for others this was not enough and the problem continued to occur in a very annoying manner. What was supposed to be a help in case of need, has ultimately proven to be a nuisance, and in some cases the SOS module had to be completely replaced.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
