Replacement of the window regulator mechanism of the Skoda Fabia 1.

Let's see how to replace the window regulator of a Skoda Fabia 1: we need to remove the internal cover of the door: the screws are located under the handle knob and in the storage compartment; with a flat screwdriver we will then release the plastic clips along the edges. Disconnect the window regulator connector and the speaker cable. Remove the rubber seal from the window and unscrew the screws from the mechanism attached to the door. We will fix the glass to the door with bodywork adhesive tape, to prevent it from falling down, then we remove the mechanism from the door, being careful with the cables and the glass guides. We can get the new mechanism at a good price for example on E-Bay with the code 151524328259 at the price of 20.99 euros, free delivery. Position it exactly as the old one was, screw in the fixing screws and reconnect the electrical connector. Before reassembling the panel, test the operation; if everything is ok, reassemble the seal and the door cover.
