How to replace the heating resistor of a Skoda Roomster

Replacing the heating resistor of a Skoda Roomster car is a simple operation but requires some manual skills. You will need a crosshead screwdriver and socket wrenches as well as a compatible new resistor. Start by locating the resistor, which is under the passenger side dashboard, so to access it you will need to unscrew the screws that hold the panel under the glove compartment and then remove it. At this point, you will be able to see the resistor connected to the fan motor, disconnect the electrical connector. Finally, unscrew the screws and remove the component in question to then position and secure the new resistor in the same housing. Reconnect the electrical connector and reposition the lower panel by screwing the appropriate nuts.
