How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Fabia?

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007
Part: Service warning light

You can clear the Service light from the instrument cluster of the Škoda Fabia by pressing and holding the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster until the "Service OIL" message appears on the corresponding display. Once the message appears, turn the key in the ignition until the instrument cluster lights up: at this point, turn the button to the right until you hear a beep confirming that the light has been reset. After this procedure, you can remove the key.
