How to Replace the Front Ball Joint on a Skoda Octavia

Learn how to remove the front ball joint on a Skoda Octavia. Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for working. Unscrew the wheel nuts with a socket wrench (or air impact wrench) and remove the wheel. Then, begin to unscrew the ball joint nuts with a socket wrench (as shown in the video). Unscrew the nuts located under the joint and the stabiliser bar, and pull the stabiliser bar out from the vehicle body. Fit the new ball joint; screw it in with all the attached nuts. Finally, refit the wheel with the attached nuts and test the car.
