How to deactivate the passenger airbag on the Skoda Octavia Mk3?

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 3, 5E - Years 2012-2019
Part: Airbag

In this short video, you can see how to deactivate and reactivate the airbag on the passenger side of the Skoda Octavia Mk3. The deactivation mechanism is located inside the cabin, on the passenger side, specifically inside the glove compartment. Once opened, you can locate the housing where the vehicle key should be inserted: turning it to the OFF position deactivates the airbag, while turning it to the ON position reactivates it. A specific light on the dashboard indicates whether the airbag has been deactivated or not.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel. Conversely, loosening the nut will decrease the handbrake's firmness and increase the lever's travel.
