How to Deactivate the Passenger Airbag on the Škoda Octavia?

To deactivate the passenger airbag on the Škoda Octavia, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side: on its right side, you will find a lock that allows you to activate or deactivate the passenger airbag. This lock must be moved from ON to OFF to ensure the airbag is deactivated, which can be confirmed by turning on the ignition, where the corresponding warning light will illuminate. To reactivate the airbag, simply move the lock back to ON and then close the glove compartment.
