How to Disable the Passenger Airbag in the Skoda Octavia

In this mini guide, discover how to manually disable the passenger airbag in your new Skoda Octavia. Before you start, remember that this operation should only be performed in special cases (for example, airbag malfunctions and/or other anomalies) and for short periods. First, extract the physical emergency key from the fob by pressing the designated button on the cover. Next, open the passenger door and locate the airbag activation/deactivation mechanism at the end of the dashboard. Insert the key and turn the switch to "Off". To reactivate the airbag, simply turn it to "On".
