Replacing the Lock Cylinder on Skoda Octavia

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 3, 5E - Years 2012-2019

Using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the two side covers of the door, which can only be accessed by opening the door. Unscrew the screws that are now free and inside the door. Done! On the Skoda Octavia, this is all you need to extract the lock cylinder, which you can pull out directly from the external lock, that is, from the section next to the handle where the key is inserted. Similarly, to install the new cylinder, simply insert it properly into place and screw in the two fixing screws. Good luck!
