Resetting the Onboard Computer for Next Service Indicator

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

To reset the distance indicator on the onboard computer to plan for the next maintenance service, perform the following operation. Turn the ignition key to the off position. Locate the button on the right side of the instrument panel near the rev counter, press and hold it, then turn the ignition key to switch on the instrument panel. At this point, release the button and press the button on the left side of the rev counter once. Turn off the panel, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on to verify the reset.
