This guide shows how to reset the infotainment system on a Skoda Octavia MK4 via a forced restart: this procedure is useful when the touch screen is unresponsive, or the system is frozen or slow, or if there are technical issues. Locate the power button and press and hold it for about 10 seconds.

Continue holding until you see the "Skoda" logo appear on the screen. At this point, you can release the button.

This will restart the system without losing personal settings. This is different from a factory reset, which is done from the settings menu and deletes saved radio stations, Bluetooth, etc.
