Instructions for Resetting the Service Light

Resetting the SERVICE light on the dashboard is a manual process and does not require diagnostic tools to reset it. Once the regular maintenance has been performed, without turning on the ignition, press and hold the trip reset button on the dashboard (the central display will light up), while still holding it, turn on the ignition, release the button and press it again, then turn it and immediately switch off the ignition; upon the next ignition of the dashboard, the SERVICE light will no longer appear. It is important that the light is on to reset it; if maintenance is performed early, you will still need to wait for it to illuminate to reset it.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
