How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Fabia?

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on a Škoda Fabia, press and hold the button located on the right side of the dashboard until the "Service OIL" message appears in the centre of the display. Once the message is shown, turn the key in the ignition until the dashboard lights up: at this point, the button should be slightly turned to the right until a confirmation sound indicates that the light has been reset. After completing the operation, the dashboard can be turned off.
