How to Replace the Key Battery on a Skoda Octavia

This very short video guide shows all the necessary steps to replace the key battery of a fourth-generation Skoda Octavia, produced since 2019. First, extract the physical emergency key by pressing the designated release button, then use the extracted key to lever off the back cover of the remote as shown in the video, and then remove it. Once done, you will see the old battery that needs to be removed, so take it out using a small flat screwdriver and insert a new one before closing everything up following the reverse procedure. The required battery is a CR2032 3V.
