Let's see thanks to this very short video guide all the necessary steps to replace the battery of the key of a fourth generation Skoda Octavia, a model in production since 2019. First, we need to extract the physical emergency key by pressing the appropriate release button, then we use the key just extracted to leverage the back cover of the remote control as shown in the video and then remove it. Once this is done, we immediately have the old battery in front of us, so let's remove it using a small flathead screwdriver and insert a new one and then close everything by following the reverse procedure. The necessary battery is the CR2032 3V.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
