Removing the Centre Console of a Skoda Fabia

Follow this useful tutorial for all the steps to remove the centre console of a Skoda Fabia, first generation model produced from 1999 to 2007. Start by removing the plastic insert under the handbrake lever, then use a T15 spanner to remove the central screw located inside the ashtray. Next, remove the gear knob and gaiter. Once done, use a small lever to detach and remove the gear surround along with the ashtray, then unscrew the last two screws located under the ashtray. Now, remove the small rear storage compartment and unscrew the two screws underneath it with the T15 spanner. Finally, lift the centre console, disconnect the wiring, and remove it completely.
