How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter

Typically, the cabin air filter should be replaced at least once a year or every 9,300 miles. In some cases, it may need to be changed more frequently depending on the type of roads you drive daily. The filter is located under the dashboard next to the glove compartment, as shown in the images. Given the position, it will be useful to have a lamp and possibly move the passenger seat back for more space. At this point, slide the two clips that hold the filter in place towards their respective ends. Remove the old filter and insert the new one, then slide the two clips back towards the centre to secure the filter compartment. Car model: Skoda Fabia.
