First, fold the mirror down to remove the glass, then disconnect the electrical connectors. Now remove the cover by unscrewing the screws, then detach the light diffuser, remove the two electrical cables, unscrew the light screw, and take out the indicator. Install the new one which fits perfectly, then reattach the screw that held the transparent part in place. Reposition the electrical parts and snap them back into place. Replace the cover by securing it with the screws. Reconnect the connectors and then snap the mirror back into place. Repeat everything on the other side, and the job is complete.
