Opening the front hood of the Smart Fortwo model 451 is a very simple operation, although different from other types of vehicles. To perform this operation, we must release the clips located inside the front grille and then lift the hood cover slightly to remove it by sliding it downwards. After performing this operation, we can check the engine or the fluids inside the tanks such as engine oil or windshield washer fluid. After performing the checks, you will need to reposition the cover and then close the clips of the grille.
