Here’s how to reset the inspection warning (service) for the regular oil change on a Smart Fortwo in simple, quick steps. First, get in the vehicle and press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument panel; then turn on the ignition and wait for the inspection warning to reset completely, as shown in the video.

Now turn off the ignition and start the engine, verifying that the service warning has been reset!
