How to Replace the Steering Angle Sensor on a Smart Roadster

To replace the steering angle sensor on a Smart Roadster, loosen the central nut located at the back of the steering wheel, behind the central airbag. Once the steering wheel is removed, you will be able to locate the steering angle sensor at the back of the part: disconnect the wires connected to the sensor so that it can be completely removed from its housing.

After removal, insert the new replacement part, reassembling the steering wheel onto its housing.
