How do you deactivate the passenger airbag of the Smart?

In order to deactivate the passenger airbag of the Smart, you need to open the passenger door so that you can access this side of the dashboard: here you will be able to locate a knob pointing to ON, indicating that the passenger airbag is active. Therefore, you can deactivate the airbag by turning the knob and pointing it to OFF: in doing so, you will notice that the appropriate deactivation light will also appear on the instrument panel. At this point, you can reposition the knob to ON to reactivate the airbag.
