In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the rear lights on the Smart ForTwo, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then open the trunk door, locate the two screws along the inner edge of the light in question and unscrew them using a simple cross-point screwdriver.

Next, grab the light, pull it towards you, and separate it from the bodywork. At this point, all that remains is to disconnect the power connector, replace the faulty element, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
