How to Remove the Engine Air Filter on a Smart Fortwo

To remove the engine air filter on a Smart Fortwo, open the boot of the car, lift the panel covering the engine, and secure it. Open the air kit (unscrew the securing screws with a screwdriver) and remove the cap of the filter box to extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly against the walls). Finally, replace the cap of the air box and tighten the securing screws around the perimeter. Close the engine cover panel and the boot after completing the installation.
