We will briefly see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the stock radio of the Smart Fortwo. First, we get inside the car and start removing the plastic cover of the central instrument panel, located on the sides of the radio; then we unscrew the fastening screws found on the sides, subsequently disconnecting the electrical wiring located on the back, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the radio, replacing it with the new one; in this case, a new multimedia system with an Android operating system is installed, making the necessary modifications to the wiring.

How to Replace the Drive Belt

Disconnect and lift the bonnet, then disconnect the battery cables. The drive belt will likely be located on one of the two shorter sides of the engine, so if you do not have space to access the belt, you will need to remove any obstructing parts. Remove the tension on the belt by rotating the tensioner and then take off the belt.
