How to reset the Service light on a Smart Forfour?

Model: Smart Forfour W453, MK 2 - Years 2014-2021

You can completely turn off the Service light on the instrument cluster of the Smart Forfour by switching on the ignition and then navigating through the menu on the instrument cluster using the directional arrows on the left side of the steering wheel: locate the option that indicates the miles remaining until the next oil change. When this screen is displayed, press and hold the OK button located on the left side of the steering wheel: this will cause the Service light and maintenance interval to start flashing until they are fully reset.
