In this guide, we will see the main instructions that will allow you to disable the Start&Stop system on the Smart Fortwo. First, get inside the vehicle and start by turning on the instrument panel and the engine; upon the first engine start, the Start&Stop system will always be active and can be disabled using the button located at the bottom left, on the driver's side, as shown in the video. A warning will appear on the instrument panel indicating that the Start&Stop is temporarily disabled; to reactivate the function, simply press the button again.
