In this tutorial, you will see how to disable the ESP system in the Smart ForTwo 451. First, note that this procedure will also disable the ABS, as the control unit for both systems is the same. Start by inserting the key but leave it in the initial position, then press and hold the two buttons on either side of the dashboard while simultaneously turning on the instrument cluster. You may need another person if you have difficulty reaching both buttons with one hand. Release the pressure as soon as the large yellow triangle starts flashing and then start the engine.
