Engine Oil Change on Smart Fortwo

Let’s service our car, how to change the engine oil along with the filter on a Smart. Lift your car on a column lift or a jack and open the engine compartment located in the boot. Using a suitable socket wrench, unscrew the bolt located under the oil sump to allow the oil to drain into a container for future disposal. Refit the bolt in the oil sump. Use a strap wrench to unscrew the filter, lubricate the new filter, and screw it into place. Top up the engine at the end of the assembly and check the level.
