Today we will see how to open the key remote control and how to replace the internal battery of a Smart Fortwo 451; the operation is very simple and does not require the use of a particular tool. First of all we take our remote control and with a lever we go to open it in two parts, inserting the tool in the slot that we find in the middle: then we access the battery and remove it by levering it. At this point we insert the new battery, of the right type (usually a 2032), and we go to close the two plastic shells, fitting them: follow the video to the end!
