How to Replace the Window Switch Button on a Smart?

Model: Smart Smart 454, Fourfour1 - Years 2004-2006
Part: Power window switch

Before you can start, you will need to sit in the driver's seat of your Smart. With a small flathead screwdriver as a lever, remove the plastic cover around the window switch button. Once the side cover is removed, use the screwdriver to pry in the gap between the button and its housing, freeing the button itself. After this, disconnect the internal connector to complete the removal. To install the new button and close the internal door handle, follow these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
