How to Replace the Reverse Light Bulb on a Smart

Before you can start, open the rear hatch of your Smart. Begin by unclipping and removing the side inner cover in the boot. Then, unclip the clips securing the bulb holder to the rear light. This will free the bulb holder. Next, extract the bulb holder, and you will have access to the reverse bulb. At this point, unclip and remove the reverse bulb, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new reverse bulb, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
