In this short video tutorial, you will see the main steps to remove the rear panel of the boot tailgate of a Smart Fortwo 453. First, open the glass of the tailgate and the lower section; then remove the screws found at the front and the side fixing screws.

At this point, disconnect the two electrical connectors of the rear panel and remove it, as shown in the video; if desired, remove the opening mechanism and then refit everything by applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
