How to Replace the Spark Plugs on a Smart ForTwo

Before you start, open the rear hatch of your Smart ForTwo. Begin by removing the engine cover. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the connectors to the spark plugs, then disconnect the connectors themselves. This will give you access to the spark plugs. At this point, unscrew and remove them from the cylinder head. Once you have completed this step, the disassembly will be finished. To fit the new spark plugs on your Smart ForTwo, follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
