The seats in a Smart can be adjusted using the appropriate levers, allowing the seat to slide forwards and backwards on the tracks, adjust the backrest angle, and adjust the seat height relative to the carpet. To slide the seats, lift the lever located under the seat and while holding it up, push the seat in the desired direction. To adjust the backrest angle, lift the lever located on the side of the backrest, near the seatbelt anchors. This will also allow you to completely fold down the passenger seat. With the lever on the other side of the seat, you can adjust the height relative to the carpet.
