How do you remove the dashboard from the Smart?

To be able to remove the dashboard of the Smart, you must start by disconnecting the connectors located under the steering column and loosening the screws of the lower cover of the steering column. Subsequently, it will be necessary to lift the central controls by levering and loosen the screws below. The next components to remove will be the car stereo and the glove box below. Finally, it will be necessary to remove the air vent located on the right side of the dashboard and loosen the screw underneath. This will allow you to slide off the cover of the upper part of the dashboard and to remove it from inside the passenger compartment.
