How is the Smart 453 rev counter activated?

In order to activate the tachometer of the Smart 453 it is necessary to use a computer, which must be connected to the car's ECU through its OBD socket. It must be activated using a Mercedes scan program: the operation is not easy, in fact it is advisable to go to an authorized workshop to activate the car's rev counter. Once the operation has been performed, it will be possible to disconnect the computer from the OBD socket and check the correct operation of the tachometer. The cost of such an operation can vary depending on the workshop.
