To remove the front bumper on a Smart 450, pry to detach the grille located between the number plate and the front headlights. By removing the grille, you can loosen the screws underneath; next, remove the rivets that secure the triangular cover near the external mirror. This will also allow you to loosen the screws underneath this cover; the last screws to be removed are located along the pillars of the two doors. By loosening these last screws, the entire front bumper of the car can be removed.
