How to replace the alternator of a Smart Fourtwo 451
Model: Smart Smart
451
- Years 2007-2015
To replace the alternator, we must begin by disconnecting the battery, which is located under the mat, on the passenger side. We remove the rear wheel on the passenger side, and we remove the support that protects the engine and which is under the wheel. From here we can access the alternator belt, which we will carefully remove, as it will then have to be reassembled in its place. We remove the connectors that connect the alternator to the engine. It is fixed with 13mm screws that must be unscrewed and removed with a little difficulty because the space is really limited. Now let's mount the new alternator, with the same space difficulties, mitigated as always by the fact of using a new part. We replace the bolts, the connector and the alternator belt that we had previously removed. Now we can reassemble the paramotor hidden in the compartment under the wheel and then the rear wheel on the passenger side. We reactivate the battery and the job is done.

How to Remove the Front Headlamp on a Renault Megane
Let's see how to remove the front headlamp on a Renault Megane. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Unscrew the headlamp securing bolts with a screwdriver, along with the associated clips, and extract the headlamp from its housing. Once the headlamp is removed (located at the rear of the headlamp), take it out, and you will find the bulbs with metal clips. Pull out the bulb holder from the headlamp and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver. Install the new bulb (always ensure it is the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holder back into the headlamp housing. by ScegliAuto More videos
