How to Replace the Alternator Belt on a Smart 451

To replace the alternator belt on a Smart 451, lift the car using a ramp and loosen all the bolts securing the left front wheel. Once the wheel is removed, you can access the components underneath and loosen the tensioner bolt. Now, loosen the bolts securing the shock absorber at both the top and bottom. Below it, you will find the alternator belt, which must be removed by loosening the corresponding pulley bolt. After removal, you can install a new replacement part.
