To replace the clutch on a Smart 453, first remove the rear bumper by unscrewing all the fastening screws. Next, you will need to remove the exhaust and disassemble the driveshaft to access the gearbox, which is positioned longitudinally. Once the gearbox is removed, take out the clutch by disassembling its discs. Now take the new clutch and install it. After installation, reassemble all the components.
