How to replace the heating radiator of the Smart Fortwo 450

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Heater core

Today we see how to replace the radiator of the heating system of the Smart Fortwo 450. To access the radiator we must remove the entire dashboard. Let's start by extracting the radio from its seat and disconnecting the wiring. We empty the cooling system and go to disconnect the pipes at the ends of the heating radiator. Once this is done, we get into the car and disassemble the air conditioning controls by unscrewing the upper and lower support screws. So let's extract the central cabinet. Let's go now to remove the steering wheel and the control instruments. We act on the upper part of the dashboard to unscrew the upper part. Now unscrew the screws of the lower cushion and go to extract it. All that remains is to unscrew all the screws that support the heating block. Once the block has been extracted, we go to open it and take the new radiator and compare it with the damaged one to make sure it matches. So let's reassemble the block and by operating the procedure in reverse we go to reassemble everything in the car. We reconnect the coolant pipes and go to fill the system, bleeding the air well.

How to Remove the Oil Filter on a Toyota Yaris

How to remove the oil filter on a Toyota Yaris? This is a simple operation if you follow the correct steps. Lift the car using a column lift or jack. After removing the cover panel (if present), use a socket spanner to unscrew the oil filter holder. Allow the oil to drain into a container for disposal. Remove the dirty and worn filter from the metal container; clean the container and insert a new filter. Screw the filter holder back into its designated housing using the appropriate spanner and lower the car once the job is complete.
