Here’s how to open the front bonnet of a Smart: it’s important to know that this bonnet does not have hinges or fixed supports to the vehicle. To open it, you need to unlock it by pulling towards you and simultaneously inwards on the two levers located at the sides of the air intake grille. At this point, the bonnet will be released, and you can pull it forward to remove it. To close it, simply place it over the headlights, centre it with the vehicle, and then push it towards the windscreen to secure it.
