How to Reset the Service Indicator on the Smart Forfour

After changing the oil and filter on this vehicle, you need to reset and update the service indicator that has appeared on the instrument cluster display. To do this, follow the instructions below and refer to the tutorial video.

First, access the cabin and sit in the driver's seat. Then, turn on the ignition and locate the button above the dashboard on the left side.

Press this button repeatedly until the service indicator appears on the display, then hold it down while turning off the ignition. Finally, release the button and turn the ignition back on to check that the warning light has turned off correctly.

Replacing the Gear Knob on the Renault Espace

The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the gear knob of the manual gearbox on the Renault Espace. First, get in the vehicle and start by removing the small upper cover of the knob; to remove it, simply pull the gear knob upwards with force to detach it from the lever, as shown in the video.
