Smart - Video tutorial

Model: Smart Smart - Years 2000-2007
Part: Rear bumper
Operation: Removing the outer trunk panel and rear bumper

This video illustrates the operations required to remove the outer panel of the trunk, the rear bumper, the side panels and the rear wheel arches. First the rear door gasket is removed, and then with the help of an electric unscrewer (but a manual one is fine too) the fixing screws are removed. When removing the rear panel, be very careful not to uproot the license plate light connectors as well. The video clearly illustrates the positioning of the fixings to be removed in order to extract the bumper and side panels as well.

How to activate the cruise control of the Nissan Qashqai

Let's see how the cruise control is activated on the Nissan Qashqai: you have to activate it by putting the cruise control switch to "on", then, using only the right spoke of the steering wheel, press the "set-" button, then the "res +" button also on the right spoke of the steering wheel and the cruise control indicator lights up on the car's instrument panel display. If the brake pedal is pressed while the cruise control is in operation or if the "cancel" button on the right spoke of the steering wheel is pressed, the cruise control will automatically deactivate and the cruise control indicator on the instrument panel will go out.
