How to Reset the Service Light on a Smart Roadster?

Model: Smart Smart Roadster, 452 - Years 2003-2005

To reset the Service light on a Smart, turn on the ignition and then navigate through the menu by repeatedly pressing the button at the top left of the cluster. Keep pressing until the maintenance interval is displayed; then turn off the ignition while continuing to hold the button. At this point, still holding the button, turn the key to the ignition position and wait for the Service light to reset; after the reset, you can turn off the instrument cluster.
