To replace the fuel pump on a Smart, you need to loosen the screws securing the fuel tank to its housing at the lower rear of the car: here you will be able to detach the tank, locating the fuel pump at its upper part. The pump can be removed from its housing by loosening the screws that secure it inside; once the old pump has been removed, you can insert the new replacement part, secure the tank, and check that everything functions correctly.
